| I'm Diggin it! | I don't know a whole lot about LCD's. Having said that, here's my experiences with them. I have a Viewsonic VP201. When I bought it, there weren't too many 20" LCD's out. It has a 16ms refresh rate and I don't have a single problem with even the highest motion games. Meanwhile, my brother got an el-cheapo from some warehouse place for $150 for a 19" last summer. Need for Speed blurs like crazy, Quake4 blurs, about the only thing that doesn't blur is his golf game. And it has a 8ms time on it. | More the reason to go with the Viewsonic I offered... Widescreen 19" featuring a kickass 5ms response time... can't beat that. Sure it's open box, but it's $150! - Core 2 Quad Q6600 - DFI Infinity 975X - 4GB Corsair XMS2 w/ DHX DDR2-800 - 250GB Seagate 7200.10RPM + 160GB Hitachi 5400.4RPM - ATi Radeon X1900XT 256MB - Cooler Master Centurion 5 + OCZ StealthXStream 600W - Acer 19" P191W Monitor - Logitech Z-5500 Digital + Logitech MX Revolution - Vista Ultimate x64 |

| If you want 5 years, wouldn't HDCP be smart (though this monitor lacks DVI)? - Core 2 Quad Q6600 - DFI Infinity 975X - 4GB Corsair XMS2 w/ DHX DDR2-800 - 250GB Seagate 7200.10RPM + 160GB Hitachi 5400.4RPM - ATi Radeon X1900XT 256MB - Cooler Master Centurion 5 + OCZ StealthXStream 600W - Acer 19" P191W Monitor - Logitech Z-5500 Digital + Logitech MX Revolution - Vista Ultimate x64 |

| I'd save a bit longer and get yourself at least a 22" WS, they're coming down in price almost everyday, or so it seems anyway. |

| Modder-ator | Exactly right. That's why I'm still suffering through with my old 15" 30ms LCD so I can get a 21"-24" LCD with all the goodies (1000:1 contrast ratio, HDCP, HDMI, Component Video, Composite Video, <8ms response time, 178º viewing angle, height adjustable stand, screen rotate, etc). |
