| Modder-ator | Don't know how to help you with the SMART data, but is the drive making any repetitious clicks or grinds where it almost sounds like the read head is stuck and can't move past a certain point? That is usually the last warning before a drive gives out (and yes I am speaking from personal experience). The only drive I ever had fail on me was a Western Digital 74GB Raptor. I did an advanced RMA through Western Digital (not Newegg) and it was smooth as silk. I was only down for about 3 days while WD shipped my replacement drive. I highly recommend WD's advanced RMA service! |

| Level 2 College Student | Well speedfan shows ( i did an in-depth analysis of both of em) and it scored a 90% Here are the results: http://www.Zambinidirect.com/files/p...martreport.PNG http://www.Zambinidirect.com/files/p...martreport.PNG Okay.... ever since I did those tests my compy freezes for about .001 seconds for every .5 seconds. Its very noticable and very very VERY irritating. And I just upgraded to F10 bios. But it started doing that BEFORE i upgraded. Last edited by Zambini; February 22nd, 2007 at 16:24. |

| I'm Diggin it! | For your reference, I have the same drive and here are my results. ![]() I would imagine your drive is getting to the point where you would want to do a complete backup of all the data on it and start looking for a replacement. | Level 2 College Student | You think I could just RMA them both (one at a time of course) I dont feel like spending another couple hundred bucks. I've got the Secondary drive already backed up (important stuff anyway) onto my 200gb external. |

| Level 2 College Student | Ok, so.... I unplugged the 2nd HDD, and then re-plugged it in, and Windows NTFS file checker or w/e its called fixed 2 bad sectors on the 2nd HDD on boot. So now the Fitness is back to 98% and the performance is up to 100%. 0.o No RMA! w00. |

| I'm Diggin it! | A drive that new shouldn't have bad sectors already. I'd still try to RMA it.
