maybe intel's is already lower quality so you don't see the difference :)

I found 2 webcams to have the best quality (for the price):

- creative webcam live
- microsoft v-1000 and up



Main rig:

Inno3D 7900GT@542Mhz/1.6Ghz, Thermalright SI-97

Swiftech NB, Asus StarIceBlue CPU cooler; XP Pro

Laptop: Dell XPS 1530 (T7500; 3GB 667 RAM; 160GB 7200rpm HDD; 8600GT; Vista 32bit)

i use a labtec cam and its fine for me and the receiver, even though its only a cheapo one it still produces half decent quality streams.

I know it's driver/software related, but geez.... how the hell?? And no, the Intel webcam looks MUCH better than the pics on the left.
Lead Head caught me on MSN yesterday and said it was probably because of the compression. It looks like it, but it's like it is compressing more with those webcams than other webcams. Like if MSN did the compressing but the drivers too, really strange.
