Do you notice any lag with the wireless optical mouse? How about the weight of the mouse, do those two AA batteries make the mouse annoyingly heavy or does it still glide easily?

The mouse that came with the keyboard is not bulky or heavy like the MX1000 laser mouse. As for lag..........no lag whatsoever and yes it glides easily on my mouse pad. I would use it but it doesn't have the programmable buttons like the MX1000 that I use for Autocad.

Using the keyboard now and must say Logitech has improved on the quality of the keypads. They are much more comfy than the Logitech Elite versions, have those too as well but I jus parked them.
