| Colonel Calamity | I did but the way I understand it, when a digital connection is being used, the analog is shut off so you have to choose one or the other, not both this is also why I myself opted for these speakers: Logitech X-530 ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! | Modder-ator | Indeed they are. Don't get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoyed the sound quality of the X-Fi, but it's lack of digital features and annoying/flaky drivers drove me to make the swich. I've never had a really nice surround sound setup (only an cheap, entry-level 5.1 system) so I have never been able to really get the most out of surround sound, but I don't feel like I've sacrificed any sound quality by moving to the Auzentech card from the X-Fi. |
