Best Speakers for the Money

My wife took back the crappy little satellites I had to use with her PC, so I picked up the (used) Klipsch 2.1s for $112 all-in. They apparently arrived today. Can't wait to get home to try 'em out.

got 'em and hooked 'em up last night. Unfortunately the wife was pissed - "couldn't you have gotten something smaller?" Now clearly she just doesn't get me, as bigger is always better, but I had to concede she did have a point since my setup is in the family room, not in an office room. I set up the two satellites to either side at about shoulder level - I may eventually look to get stands for them as my monitor takes up most of the end table I've confiscated and doesn't leave much room for speakers. for now I'll use the headphone jack only - got to wait for the better half to be out of the house to really crank up the volume and play. Once I do I'll post back my thoughts...

sorry for the late post - had a party in the backyard last weekend and put the speakers in the windows. Fantastic - finally an excuse to turn up the volume. I'm extremely pleased with this speaker/subwoofer combo, and the price was great. Two thumbs up!
