i have the samo problem . i use XP sp2 i tried whit another sp2 nothing cables to change again nothing. the motherboard is Intel D845PT if someone can help just say because i'm goin to kill that ....... motherboard

While you're at it you might as well get SP3 and get your system completely up to date. Supposedly SP3 can improve windows performance by up to 10%.

What drive capacity does the BIOS reflect?

Make and model of the drive?

it's a Hitachi 500 GB ATA the hard drive is working becausde i've tried at another pc and there is working. btw i want to install windows on that drive and when it comes to the partitions to create i make 1- 20 gb and the left is the second drive, so when i make the partitions and begin to format the 20 gb it says to trie another partition because its wrong or somethin like that and it drives me crazy i updatet the bios the mother board is Intel D845PT any one to help
