I think we might be planning on some software reviews in the future. Maybe I'll try one on Diskeeper 10. I just got it.

Software Reviewist is my official title. You can be sure to see many software reviews and guides coming in the near future.

Not at all, unless he's somehow managing to severely fragment his HDD each and every day. After the first defragment run, each subsequent one goes by significantly faster if not a lot of time lapses in between runs.

It's sort of like picking up/cleaning a very messy room. After everything is organized, it takes a lot less effort and energy to stay on top of it if you pick up on a daily basis, rather than waiting for it to get thrashed again.
Ditto. Most of the time it takes only a few minutes since I just played a few games. Some rare times it will take an hour because I made an image of a HDD on my computer, or uninstalled a game. It's great though, it defrags while i'm at work so I couldn't care less.
I've tried Diskeeper 10... I wouldn't buy that seriously. It only found a few "not optimized system files", which somewhat proves that the Windows Defragmenter does the job pretty good. Sure enough, there's an easy interface for scheduled tasks and other nifty tricks, but the service running in the background for them takes 18mb of ram at idle, which seems somewhat alot for what it does. I will uninstall it when I get back to home tonight and re-enable that scheduled task called Defrag C

I was going to say, "Bring it on b****!", but I just realized that we're de-railing this thread.

So anyways, as I was saying.. :P I use Windows' defrag utility, and I only run it about twice a year if my Raptor's lucky Click the image to open in full size.

Perhaps I'll defrag it tonight :-)
