It's mostly all the hotfixes between SP2 and 3, but there are a few other performance benefits and features. No reason not to install it, if just to save you a couple hours on windows update. I have it installed on every single system here at home (6 PCs), one of them being an OEM Dell and not a single problem. The only computers I heard this is a problem with was a few specific OEMs with very specific programs installed... Thanks HL and Corsair! | Lvl 1 College Student | Re: XP SP3 Cripples Some PCs With Endless Reboots The first startup took like 10 minutes. But it had to "Configure IE6 Settings"..... aka: install IE6. lol. So far, don't notice a thing except the Windows XP Loading screen is now at a pretty resolution. |
