| that what some guy said over there i have no proof of it but if someone in here can get Dx 10 Game To Work Let me know To install: Copy d3d10.dll, d3dx10.dll, d3dx10.dll, dxgi.dll, and Nucleus.dll to C:\windows\system32\ To get the examples: 1) Follow the instructions on Visual Studio Express: Using Visual C++ 2005 Express with the Microsoft Platform SDK 2) Download and install the DirectX SDK from Download details: DirectX SDK - (April 2007) To build and run an example: 1) Go to the Microsoft DirectX SDK folder, Samples, C++, Direct3D10, Tutorials, Tutorial12 2) Double-click "Tutorial12_2005.sln" 3) Select "Start Without Debugging" from the Debug menu. There are a number of known issues with most of the tutorials, but they will all work to some extent. Tutorial 12 is currently the recommended example. Please direct any feedback to the Falling Leaf Discussion forum on Falling Leaf | Home name of that file Tutorial12_2005.sln" is not on my folder don't see it |

| Colonel Calamity | sorry to dig this up from the grave but with the release of the Crysis Demo.... it would be nice for someone to try it with a DX10 card... ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! My opinions are my own and not representative of this site or its members. |

| I would try this again, but my main rig is in pieces now, because I needed to make measurements for the custom tech station I am building. Sorry... |

| T-Rex | I second that. I'm very interested by the 8800GT, I might try it when it becomes available up north, in Canadaland. :P If nobody had the time to test that before the time I buy it, I will. Can't switch to Vista just yet, my 600GB raid with my XP install is full, i'd have to back that up first and being the normal tech I'm too lazy to do that. |

| I've wanted to move to XP 64bit when Vista was giving me major pains but now that I've settled down I don't think there is any reason to change anymore. ![]() I Like Watercooling. D-Tek Fuzion, MCP655, MCR220 |

| Installed using some german installer. dxdiag says I am running DX10.1 and I can definitely play Crysis and CoD4 with DX10. What I don't know is if it is just a crack to allow DX10 games to run on XP or if it actually uses the DX10 technology. |
