When do you think Vista will be as stable as XP?

Just go to control panel > User accounts and find the option near the botton about adjusting User Account Control settings. On the next screen, make sure the box is unchecked about using user account control settings and then hit next, then reboot. After this I just turn off the security center all together plus the notification about security threats in the tray. I can help people with this more when I'm at my house, but I'm at work ATM. As far as the process for the program crashing and such, I've only had older software cause problems.

Not the Cancel or Allow ones (well, not always). The security wizards are really buggy, like the one to take ownership of files.

I still haven't hit any bugs. Maybe the updates I have already fixed the ones you are talking about.

Speaking of which, it is kind of annoying having to take ownership of folders (such as the appdata folder) in my acount in vista. But then again it is only a one time thing to stop novices from damaging their system.
