Sounds like you already got it, but I will post the answer for you anyway :P

To make another cell that calculates the total with tax (using my previous spreadsheet cell locations as an example), you can just enter the following formula into another cell as:
=C10*1.14

That will add a 0.14 percent tax to the total and display the new total with tax. Again, this cell will be updated everytime a price is changed :)

I spent a whole day making a spreadsheet like that. It had all of the components I commonly used already there and fields for other components as well. It factored in tax, shipping, labor and other fees. I wonder what I did with it...
