There was a Microsoft Office 2007 promotion a while back where you could register on this website and watch three "webcasts" about different applications of Office 2007 and then they would send you your own copy of Office 2007. So a bunch of us did it and it actually worked!

I tried the beta, and all I have to say is damn the interface is HORRIBLE!

Only because you have to relearn it and find out where everything is. I think it is a change for the better. Kindof reminds me of the Dreamweaver and Photoshop GUI design structure actually.

I figured it would be any day though. I suppose they send them out by the order that they were submitted and completed.

Well, as I recall, about the day or day after I started this, they shut it down to any more available, so I was just assuming that is how it was going to be dished out

its long over now. MS had a program where you listen to three of several different discussions about theie software and its uses.....after you listen to any three you chose, you got a free copy of Office 2007

Did you get a confirmation e-mail a few weeks ago saying that your license would be shipped in the mail? If not, you may have just missed out

Yep, got that!!! I figured that they would send you a full copy of the software.

Didn't know that it was going to be a download thingy!!!

Well I guess I will wait to get the email with the key and the download info.
