| I downloaded vLite and started to slipstream SP1 but it was taking forever so forget that I'll just make one with the other options and leave SP1 out. |

| Colonel Calamity | I love nlite... made an XP setup with SP3 slipstreamed in... works well too... used the resulting files to get XP installed on my main system via USB thumb drive. ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! My opinions are my own and not representative of this site or its members. |

| I've been trying out the vLite for Vista 64 and I'm having nothing but problems with it. I used th nLite for XP and it worked well. |

| Colonel Calamity | In the case of Vista and previous issues I have run into... I would rather just install it from the disc and then install SP1 after the fact... Vista needs all these other updates BEFORE it will even show SP1 on the Windows Update list that it is too much of a pain for now... unless you can somehow use your existing Vista installation with updates to make the slipstreamed disc... ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair!
