Nope. If you want a DVD-R to play in your jeep, you need a cd player capable of reading dvd's. And if it's the cd player that came with the jeep it definitely doesn't.

Burn the MP3 files to CDs and assuming the player in your Jeep supports MP3 things should work just fine.

The CD player in my truck, the old GM Burb will play a CD fine but will not play MP3 files. Kathy's Jeep with a newer and much better Alpine system plays the MP3 files I make for her just fine.

You just want CD-R as in CD Recordable. You don't want or need CD-RW which is rewritable.

The system you have (the link) plays MP3 CDs. You should be fine if you burn the MP3 files to a CD-R disk.

CD-R is cheap enough nowadays that you may as well just buy a cheaper spool of 50 or 100 and burn away....

Thanks HL and Corsair!

Are the music files burned as MP3 or another format?
May want to try converting them to WAV and create an Audio-CD... that may help (if you did not already do this).
