I've used Suse before also. I just wanted to try the newest Fedora Core. Upadting the distro went well, I had trouble with the automatic update with the last one I used but this one did what it was suppose to. The updates took quite awhile to do so it was kind of like windows in that reguard. It recognized my 9800XT and my monitor and everything is running smoothly. I was a little concerned with the boot manager because it didn't ask about installing it but it did it automatically and I can still boot to windows. Overall this is the easiest install of linux I've done so far.

First time I've had a problem and I've dual boot about half a dozen times before. I'm not sure what caused it but i started losing programs in windows and linux started acting funny, taking a long time to boot and not wanting to connect to the internet so I killed them both and just reinstalled windows.
