| Lvl 1 College Student | I actually am using MusicBrainz Picard right now. I tested it on my not-so-loved music (AC/DC - Flick of the switch) and I'm putting it on my mp3 player and it works like a charm :) I'm gonna go artist by artist though, not do all of my musics at once. |

| Colonel Calamity | MusicBrainz was ok for a few specific files or for an entire album but when you have 2000+ various mp3s that need proper ID3 tags, it is a nightmare. Trying the multi-tagger when I get home after my long ass day of work ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! My opinions are my own and not representative of this site or its members. |

| Colonel Calamity | The multi-tagger worked great! didn't quite get all the years and genres right but the rest came out perfect! 1400 MP3s done in 45 seconds ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! My opinions are my own and not representative of this site or its members. |

| For tagging my music, I use either MediaMonkey or Windows Media Player(do all my music CD ripping with this one). They both work good enough for me. ![]() |

| Lvl 1 College Student | multi tagger won't let me put all my music into it. I got about 2000 errors saying "Thread creation error: Not enough storage is available to process this command" |

| I'm Diggin it! | Hmmm, once when I had to reimage a whole RAID array with the OS, music and everything, I didn't have all the songs updated. About 50Gb worth. Multi-tagger got all of them except one, and only took about 1.5 minutes. | Lvl 1 College Student | So I figured that iTunes ONLY tags them (brilliant!) when you convert the songs, so I tried converting all of my music in one go..... Code: iTunes has encountered an error and needs to close. Please tell microsoft about this. [send report] [don't send] So I'm gonna try and go thru all 16000 of my songs and ditch the ones that I don't listen to/don't want (I have a couple audiobooks, that should clean up about 1000 of them. lol book of mormon) But i've still gotta go thru it manually cuz iTunes sucks. =( |
