Case & PSU Having questions or comments about a case? Need help deciding what PSU to buy? Not sure what all those crazy definitions mean?

Are you talking about the 4-pin CPU power plug? Its seems really strange for a newer PSU to not have that, and I haven't come across a mobo yet that would POST without it connected.

Apparently this PSU has an 8 pin that is basically 2 4pin mobo connectors.
I was able to connect 4 pins of this connector to the mobo 4 pin plug-in. The 8 pin plug has 2 clips side by side making it like 2 - 4 pin connectors and the power to them is 12 volts.

Oh! Yes, the 8 pin connector works just like the 24 pin, only the pins you need have to be attached which you already figured out
