im sorry i should have been more descriptive. (i dont need a psu btw) the whole front faceplate was broken off. theres 6 plastic pins that attaches that faceplate to the case itself and they all were broken. now i have a couple pieces of duct tape holding it on so i dont pull it off when i try to get to my dvd drive. ill post pics whenever my roomate wakes up
yeah i was looking at that centurion 5. so it has good cooling. what kind of fan mounts are in it? is it easy to work in?
i was also looking at this case "clicky" its that nzxt lexa. looks pretty sexy, has 3 120mm fans. but i dont know anyone who has one with hands on experience with it. i dont trust the reviews on the "egg"
right now im leaning more towards the centurion.

HERE is one of many reviews on the NZXT Lexa case. It looks like it has 120mm fans on the intake, side panel, and exhaust.

The Centurion 5 has 1 80mm intake in the bottom front and a 120mm exhaust in the rear. But the sweet thing about the Centurion 5 is the fact that the whole front of the case is mesh! The drive bay covers are black mesh with a filter material behind it. So you could actually be able to mount another 120mm intake fan in 3 empty optical drive bays and leave the mesh bay covers in and the fan will draw air in the front of the case, through the mesh drive bay covers and the filter material and blow clean, cool air into the case directly in line with your processor/memory and rear 120mm exhaust fan. Pretty slick really.

There are also newer versions of the Centurion 5 called the Centurion 530 and 532. These newer versions keep the same mesh front but change the 80mm intake to a 120mm intake. They are basically a mini Stacker. But CoolerMaster also redesigned the look of the bezel on the new Centurion cases and I don't like it as much, but you might. They are still great cases though so you should check them out.

You should also check out some of the Chenming server tower cases. They have dual 80mm fans placed for intake and exhaust and the case is very spacious. A classic choice really, and it's hard to go wrong. LINKY They are a little taller than your typical mid-tower, but sometimes it's nice to have that extra space to work with. I've also seem people mod these cases like there's no tomorrow. Everything from adding two 120mm exhaust fans to chopping it up and literally putting it back together upside down! This is a tried and true case design that will usually work with just about anything.

The Silverstone TJ-06 is a pretty nice case too. But I could really sit here for hours and list off nice cases. That's why you should give us a little more information (like price range, functionality, and/or material preferencec) so we can start recommending cases that are more closely related to what exactly you are looking for. :)

well my upper limit for my price range is around the cost of the lexa. i didnt know that the Centurions drive bays are all mesh. as for material i would like it to be mostly metal. it doesnt matter if its aluminum, steel or wrought iron for that matter ;) im just tired of plastic. as for featuresi just need a sturdy case with good cooling. pretty much a no frills deal i guess. im liking that centurion5 more and more though ill be able to add a fan controller and like you said another fan in the drive bays. im thinking ill go with the centurion. thanks for your help everyone, now i just have to wait till payday :P

Yeah, no problem. That Centurion 5 is a great all-around case. I'm sure you will be happy with it :)
Let us know what you think of it (or whatever case you get) when you get everything installed!
