They're pretty handy IMO, really help reducing the clutter. I wish they included more cables however, even it makes the price go a bit higher. I hate having a loose molex hanging somewhere or cramming it between my floppy and memory reader... You know, 1 (or 2) 2 Molex connectors only on a wire would be great sometimes. The third one is almost always unecessary, or at least if you don't want to re-clutterize the thing (new verbs FTW), and who needs more than 1 floppy power connector?

And I think you can buy more cables for the Liberty. There are a total of six regular modular connectors for the non-PCI-Express cables but the PSU only comes with four regular (non-PCI-Express) modular cables, so there are two empty modular connectors.

| Functional Alcoholic | I know this is an old thread, but I have a question about this PSU. I am thinking about buying this exact PSU. Do you think this PSU will have a problem running 2 7900GTs in SLI with the current setup in my sig? |

| I really doubt you will have any problems. Even though it's only got 2 12V rails, they each support 22amps. Plus it's got SLI certification to give you that warm and fuzzy. | Modder-ator | Well, if your question is asking whether or not the Liberty 500W is an ok alternative to other 500W PSU's for a 7900GT SLI setup, I would have to say it is one of my top choices. If you are trying to find out if a 500W PSU is powerful enough for a 7900GT SLI setup with all those HDD's, then that is one that could be debated. According to THIS article, it looks like two 7900GT's in SLI consume just under 300W. Mind you, this is total system power consumption, not just the two video cards alone. So if you have an idea of how much power all of your extra HDD's and processor will chew up, then you should be able to make a good decision. |

| Functional Alcoholic | I was just wondering, I am not running SLI right now, just like to have the option. I would go with the 620 watt liberty, but the 500w fits my budget better. If I do go SLI and have issues I can always swap the HDs out to my other system. |
