Did a scan of this post, but want to add that if you do buy an Enermax PSU, save everything.

I put one in this build when I 1st built it. I then started folding and had some errors with folding. I don't remember what i was doing but I had the machine pulled out from my desk and noticed the black ceramic (I think it's ceramic) around the plug break in half. It took me a while to even find USA support, but I ended up sending it in. I noticed that one of the lines had wires exposed and made note for them to fix it. Their idea of fixing it was tape.

Fast forward to this year. I was getting a lot of noise from it and replaced it. Called Enermax to warrenty it. They were a pain this time around and wanted me to email / fax them every piece of paper I had for it. Sheesh, you't think they had a file on it already.

I think more and more companies are getting tough on their RMA policies....and they have every right.
Look around most forums and people are trashing components by pushing them well beyond specs, modding them, and simply doing stupid things....and then have the nerve to try and RMA a product due to their stupidity.
I'm in no way saying you would do this, and your claim is legit....its just another example of good, honest people paying the price for others stupidity and dishonesty

Your right, I didn't trash it nor do I overclock anything.

I wanted to make sure I posted my experience and the documents needed to get an RMA so that someone else will have these if they need to. I also had the box, they sent it back in the original box unlike some manufacturers.
