Yes and Yes. I very much approve either of these. If you have to have modular and want a Silverstone, then the Decathlon is the way to go. Otherwise, if you want to spend less money and still have a great modular PSU, the Corsair should be great.

The Decathlon 750W is what I'm using for the rig in my specs. Silverstone's Olympia (non-modular) unit we reviewed held the tightest rails of any PSU to come through HL. The Decathlon (modular) didn't break any records, but was rock solid earning a 92 verdict. And for those that care, like the Olympia series, the Decathlons utilize a single, beefy +12V rail.

thanks everyone, ive decided upon the Decathlon 750 for my next psu. now i have to will myself to hold off on buying it until i get home to test it :-P

I have a psu that came out of a xion chassis that is collecting dust that I will give you. It's nice and light and I think it will fry a computer faster than a speeding bullet. I think its on par with the hipro but it is a 500w if I remember correctly.
Seriously tho, you dont know how close you came to getting a new psu a month ago.
