Hmm, well I'd just go with the Corsair 750w to be safe

blech..... Newegg reviews..... may as well ask a 12 year old what he thinks about using a 31x10.50x15 tire compared to a 265R75/15

Thanks HL and Corsair!

Well said! NEVER EVER put any stock in the Newegg reviews - half are complete lies and the other half are made up.

I know Antec are usually rock solid when it comes to performance and reliability, and thats probably the case with this PSU. But a big issue IMO with the TruePower Trio's is the inability to remove any of the power cords.

I currently have the 430w version in my rig and have huge cable management issues.

Q6600 G0 - Intel DP965LT
MSI 8600GT (Silent edition) - Big Typ VX
Seagate 160GB Hard Drive 7200RPM SATAII/300 8MB Cache
Kingston 2x1GB DDR2 800mhz/PC2-6400 Non-ecc CL5
NEC Optiarc 18xDVD±RW DL
Corsair TX750 - Danger Den Water Box Plus
Panasonic 32" LCD - Vista 64 Premium

Well... that's sort of off topic because the True Power Quattro IS modular (i.e. has removable cables). For the record, the Corsair does not.

There's about 50/50 on the market with and without modularity. You can't crap on the True Power Trio for not being modular. If you wanted Antec quality in a modular power supply, you should have gone with the NeoPower (which is essentially a modular Trio.)

I was a major **** when I purchased my Trio.

I am actually getting a Antec P190 + 1200 that includes both a 550 +650w Neo PSU.

I know. Those things could have powered my house.

I was going to get them coz its a good offer, but have since changed my mind and brought a TruePower quattro 1000w. It was actually a couple of pound cheaper than the 850w version @ eBuyer and only about £20 more at most over places. So I slashed out to save future headaches. Atm I'm probably using about 400w and only about 600w once I get a better GPU. But you never know what the future might bring.
