Yeah I was wondering what was going on, so I emailed them about the problem. The representative said that they did not receive the unit yet (it was accepted 4 days prior). He proceeded to ask for my tracking number. After I sent that, they sent out the unit via UPS Ground the day after.

Thanks OCNOOB. I emailed them tonight with the Delivery Confirm number and asked them what was going on.

The package was delivered on July 21st @11:41am, so they had it all week. Looking forward to hearing from them, hopefully Monday.

Not surprising really, their service really is going down, or has never been good. I'm waiting myself for a 350W and a 450W (both SmartPower II) and once again it's taking an insane amount of time. No wonder my supplier gives no warranty (normally they would just do the RMA for you and instead of waiting send you one). :roll:

How long has it been since you sent out the units?

I'm going to give them this week. That way they will have had the unit for a full 2 business weeks. After that I will make a stink and speak with supervisors. This really is a PITA, I have a rig down with no PSU.

For a big company like Antec, it would be nice to have an advance replacement RMA(they put a hold on your CC and send you a replacement ASAP, even if they only do it with PSU, because the PSU is a critical part of any PC).

Western Digital does AR RMA, and I had a new Raptor within like 3 business days!

Antec responded to my email and I have a tracking number for a package. It will be interesting wether they repaired the old unit or replaced it. The only gripe I have it that it's going to take seven days to ship from CA to NJ.

The tracking number on my package says it's going to arrive tomorrow... which means it will take UPS only 5 days (weekend included) to get it here. Pretty quick service... I just hope they don't leave the package on the doorstep again. :roll:

I think my support rep did a good job in providing decent service. I really didn't think they'd send a unit to me for just a tracking number.

Antec made good with me today. A retail boxed Neo HE 430 arrived via UPS. Dads pc was up an running within minutes and now I have back the Neo 550 for my HSPC tech station.
