I have not yet heard a release date, however for Nine Hundred users I forgot to mention a tidbit I picked up. If you want the window gone from your Nine Hundred:

Why would you need a replacement 200mm fan? Just curious.

Oh...just in case it ever went out or something fell on it and broke it. I knew they was pretty hard to find.

If something is almost impossible...then it can happen to me it seems like. LOL.

The above link has pics from Comdex and shows the version that will come with built in water cooling. Look at the second pic and you can see they added the cable routing.

BTW I have confirmed these features with my Antec contacts.

Thats actually from Computex in Taiwan, comdex pretty much bit the dust two years ago.

As to the filter issue, we covered that extensively at CES 2007 with Han Liu, Product Development Manager, and genius mind behind most of Antec's case designs for more than 15 yrs, including the Nine Hundred, 1200, P180/P190 Series.

Mr Liu's feeling was that the filters would both add to the cost, as well as cut into the air flow of the case. The feeling was that the air flow was significant enough to really prevent large amounts of dust, and the mesh face would keep things like hair and such out of the case (Remember that cases should be cleaned every couple of months, depending on your enviorment).

I think the Nine Hundred was very well received, and has proven to be an extremely popular case......but from the very beginning, a lot of people took exception with the filter-less design.

Capper thanks for the correction.

Mr Liu I think was pretty much right. My experience with the Nine Hundred has been that the front grill is grabbing a LOT of the lint and dust as the intake pulls. I have to wipe down my front grill once every 10 days or so, since it is the outside of the case it is basically just dusting. I have yet however to see any real dust build up inside the case.

If Fan Boi means I really like the products the company makes due to it's being high quality and reasonably priced then I am guilty. If a fan boy is someone that will also buy from other companies when they produce a better product and call the first company down on a poor design then i am a fan boy.

I believe in loyalty to a company that provides good service and a great product. To me however a fan boy is not about the quality of the product but the name alone. They will look the other way when their favorite company produces crap and even defend the crap product no matter how bad it is.

Now if the first definition I gave is the one you are referring to Hitman then I accept it gladly. However if your definition of fan boy fits the last one I gave, the one I typically associate with this phrase, then I consider this a fairly large personal insult and am seriously offended at the reference.

Oh then the last one definitely, I have a reputation to keep up around here. Don't want people to think I am going soft (no pun intended).

Fan Boi in this comment meant, Someone who promotes a particular name brand over and over again with out endorsement from the company. But yeah sure it can mean that other stuff too. Which ever definition makes your sleep better at night, go with that one. I believe in promoting free thought.
