What games do you play?

OMFG!!! Quakindude that was one of the main reasons that I went from an 8088 computer to a 286 dx2 50mhz with 4mb ram and a whopping 1 mb of video ram! To play Wolfenstein 3D and the anticipated upcoming DOOM!!!!!

God, does that bring back some memories!!! Surfing the internet on a 9600 baud paying by the hour, oh S**T I better shut up

LOL I bought a Sound Card just so I could play Wolf3d, and I upgraded from a 386 to a 486 so I could play Doom and Doom 2, then I upgraded from a 2400 baud modem to a 9600 baud modem so I could play Doom with my buddies :)

By the time Quake 3 came out I bought a whole new computer just to play it. I still play Urban Terror to this day.

Back then I did, I have either moved away from them, or scared them off by now. Now it just me, this bottle of beer, these 4 computers in front of me, and my wife bitching at me to take out the trash (She doesn't seem to think once a week is good enough).

FPS -- CS:S mostly
RPG -- A few select titles from time to time.
MMORPG -- I usually play ALOT during breaks and summer.
Racing -- Can't forget about Grand Turismo on PS2, mabye even the new GT on PS3. =P

I would have to agree. Building a character, being the main qualifying factor. You also gain different skill levels, and obtain items.

I am not a big RPG player, but the SIMS fit the RPG characteristics best, but technicly its a strategic life simulation computer game

Luxury Liner Tycoon;
Transport Tycoon Deluxe (remember it anyone? );
Solitare;
Bubble Blaster;
The occasional game that I create;
poker (both on-line and games);
Tetris;
AOEII (scratched disc means I can't play III);
Hyperbowl Plus;
Gem Master;
Mike Hawk's Bodyboarding;
and many others that I can't remember the names

Holy Smokes! I play quite a few games! No wonder I have so much fun on my PC and stay up late.

let see I play more then one game at a time right now the ones i am playing are

Planetside (been there since the release have a few friends that still play)
Lord of the Ring online (beta test)
Ghost Recon Adve Warfighter ( the FPS)
and waiting on the release of Star Trek Legacy (shipped on the 5th waiting for the slow clecks to unpack it)

I think my favorite 3D games are CS:S and Star Wars Battlefront II, but the latter won't run on my system right now for some reason. DX always crashes :(
