Well coming from a long-time Rainbow Six loyalist, UBI has ruined these games. Raven Shield was the last good R6 game. Lockdown and Vegas are nothing but console ports (copies), with some minor adjustments for the PC. For those that enjoy those types of games, they surely enjoy them. They are no longer very original, they play a lot like other highly commercialized console games. But for those that like the original FPS/tactical shooter-sim type games, well there are not many good games left to fill the void.

Some software company is going to make a killing when they develop a new high quality tactical shooter/FPS for the PC (and only for the PC).

The game uses the Unreal 3.0 engine????

I could have sworn it was using a modified ut 2.5 core. I dont know for sure. I stopped looking into the game when i found out it was shader 3.0, since my system i was using didnt have that capablility. My new system which will be running tomorrow can handle it easy, so ill have to check it out again.

Well, i tried this game on Vista, and it crashed every 5 minutes. About every 3 crashes, it blue screens. So i went back to xp, and it still crashes. This game must not like the 8800gts video card. Its a fun game while it plays, but i cant keep it going very long.

I just got this game for free with my latest Newegg purchase. Looks like I might bother trying it out after all! Thanks for the review XoRn!

i believe there was a statement from ubisoft a while ago saying that the first generation of DX10 video cards simply wouldn't work with the game
pretty stupid if you ask me

Wow, they're already blaming first person shooters for the tragedy at Virginia Tech today. Jack Thompson, the media attention whore, has been on Foxnews trashing videogames and their murder simulators.

I didn't realize people still listened to him. The media is retarded to be blaming games. How about the fact that the guy is a nut?
