| Modder-ator | I don't think I could play DII just because the graphics are so out-dated. I tried the same thing with Starcraft and could hardly get through the first couple missions before I wanted to tear my eyes out. Not that I expect every game to look like Crysis, but damn, those old school graphics and textures just don't do it for me anymore. World of Warcraft is about the lowest level I can handle, and even that is pretty pathetic. |

| Heh, Diablo is simply classic for me. I've been playing it since I was in fourth grade (Diablo I). Never gets old. I'm an item WHORE on Diablo II. ^^. Roughly 20 accounts full of JUNK. I collect too much stuff and then just sit on it (dragon anyone?). I wasn't too impressed with the demo of Crisis. The graphics were great, don't get me wrong, but the gameplay was average I found. I did enjoy the fact that you could blow out a car tire or the gas tank. Crisis > GTA for car blowing up. |

| Modder-ator | I haven't played Crysis so can't comment on the gameplay, I was just referring only to the graphics in my previous post. I'm also what you would call an item whore/pack-rat in TQ. I don't have 20 characters, but I do have 5 or six that I don't play anymore, I just load them up with unique items I've picked up that I just can't bring myself to sell (even though I probably will never use most of them). ![]() |

| Heh, I said accounts. Accounts have 8 characters each. ^^. That's an item whore. Nah, but I play Diablo II to collect the items. I don't play for the story or anything. For TQ, I downloaded an item exporter (being I just played single player) and I saved items to files. It helped me keep the number of chars down. |

| Modder-ator | Well, I just played a few missions of Hellgate and I don't think it's for me. It's like Doom 3 with some interchangeable armor, weapon upgrades, and special skills; more like an FPS than RPG. And I find the menu system to be clunky and tedious. The areas are so small too, you don't go very far before you have to go through another portal thinger (which really ruins any immersion in the game you may have had). It was a little more fun to play than the average point and click attack style RPG, but the maps are just too small and the game mechanics aren't great. Like when you're talking to an NPC, you just have to keep clicking "NEXT", "NEXT", "NEXT" and read every screen. They don't really talk specifically about the mission so you have to read all these little screens with no dialog and it's quite boring; really doesn't do a good job of getting you "into the game", there's no feeling or even bad acting behind it. | Yeah, it failed to hold my attention for more than a few weeks also. You know you could scroll out with the mouse to get a 3rd person view? |

| tbh, hellgate london's considered a disappointment in the anticipatory MMO world. The hype was more than the actual game, and the lag isn't you, the servers' are just plagued. i did beta testing for it, and didn't enjoy it at all. Seriously if you're looking for a MMO, as much as people knock it, can't go wrong with World of Warcraft. If you just want a game to play around with, but not a FPS, try looking towards some of the older games like Dreamfall the longest journey, and even the KOTOR series on Windows is fun. |

| No, I lagged in single player. I wasn't allowed to play online with my borrowed copy, per his wishes. Speaking of looking for other good RPG's, I am actually in the market for a new RPG and am open to opinions =). I'll be looking into those you mentioned, azianai. |
