Game Recommendations?

I hate to steer anyone away from their computer...but I got Forza 2 and it's a MUST have IMO. And I'm not even that big into race games.

CS:S is a given. heck i'd still play 1.6
i just picked up company of heroes the other day (yes.. actually purchased) actually seems like a pretty good game.

supreme commander got good reviews.

IMO COH is the best RTS ever.
It beats CnC Zero Hour by a long shot. And I have hundreds of hours logged into Zero Hour MP


And I just got Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas from a friend (for PC) and its just what I thought. A poorly-ported Xbox game and its only optimized for an Xbox360, so it runs poorly even with a good comp, and its only got like 5 advanced video settings.

Looks fun, but its not where it should be.

Ok, once U get used to the graphics..... and hopefully I can figure some way to optimize them (maybe lowering the res to closer to a TV's native res?)

Its a very fun game. Ive been playing it for a couple hours and I just started the mission where you go into Vegas.

BF2 / BF2:SF are the only games I play anymore.
Used to play CS/CS:S, DoD:S et al. Just have not had the
time to play any of them lately.

i'm not commenting about vegas on PC. i have never played it on PC. but for 360 it is so much fun. but i think, even tho it's an fps, it's more suited to the 360 controller. but you can go and buy a 360 controller and use it on your pc. so i can't imagine it being bad on pc.

normally any fps i prefer playing on computer because i am a mouse and keyboard kind of player. but i love vegas for 360.

I would assume the gameplay is exactly the same.

So I 100% agree with you. This game is way fun. I love the acting too. I am in (what i've heard) is the worst MP level in the game, the first Casino U go into, and the Terrorists pwn eachother+hosties if U hesitate, which I think is good, makes you think on your feet.

But the voice acting coulda been a little more slipstreamed.
