I felt like double bad when I bought Iron Man. Had almost no cash to spend, and it turns out it's terrible game. -___- | |

I think it may be safe to say that COD4 Online will see longevity comprable to CS:S in the months/years to come. Likewise, as soon as I get my new computer built (I have about 1/2 of it atm in boxes, calling my name from the livingroom closet >.>) I will definitely be hopping on the HL server. I have COD4 on 360 for now, but no online since my wi-fi sux ballz and it's a rental house so I can't run a wire like I want to. I'd try to run it on my current system, but it'd be like trying to play the flip-book version. Current Machine: Intel E2220 Gigabyte P35-DS3L AC Freezer 7 Pro 2GB Crucial Ballistix DDR2-800 EVGA 8800GT 512MB X-Fi Extreme Gamer Seagate 250GB SATA WD Raptor 74GB SATA Samsung S203B DVD+R Silverstone SF60 Modular 600w Antec Nine Hundred Acer 2216Wbd 22" LCD

If you're just looking for something different in a FPS, I'd recommend giving Team Fortress 2 a try since you've already played my other recommendations plus it's only $20. AMD Athlon 64 Processor 4000+ Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe 4 GB DDR SDRAM 2 eVGA GeForce 7800 GT 256 MB 2 Seagate Barracuda 7200 (200GB each) Thermaltake Tsunami Windows XP SP2

I couldn't take it anymore so I popped on ebay and picked up Stalker, Supreme Commander, Company of Heroes, and Phlinx (a stupid but addictive time-waster) for about $20. Still waiting on Fear Extraction (yeah, I know, supposed to be kinda lame but the first FEAR was OK). Stalker, SC and COH were all fairly well-rated on GameSpot, so I'm OK with spending $20 or so. Thanks for all the recs, and please keep them coming! ![]()

Boo gravity Boo RO! Come to the Dark side, Play some WoW!!! Actually if you're a star wars freak like i am, i've been recently playin KOTOR. picked upStar Wars: The Best of PC with Empire at War, Kotor, Battlefront 1, Jedi Outcast II, and Republic Commando. Also includes a trial for Star Wars Galaxy, but i wouldn't jump into that personally. Great value at 39.99 imo. Last edited by azianai; May 20th, 2008 at 09:41.

I liked the KOTOR series, especially the first Republic Commando - dialog there was particularly good; even knowing I was playing a computer game I dug the back and forth comments from the guys in the troop - but I got stuck only a few levels in on the second Republic commando. ![]()
