That is funny that you should say it that way LOL.......my son told me the same thing the other day. He sat down and wrote a long letter to them after our demo fiasco.

I used to be a huge fan of the Command and Conquer Series, and was really excited when Generals was released.....and it was a good game....when it would play. It seems like since then, their games have been real eye candy, but have been real PITAs as well, and their customer service has made me swear off ever buying an EA game for anyhting but a console (but now even Madden for the XBox360 sucks serious butt)

Yea, EA games has been a big joke for some time now. You would think they would get some kind of clue and get there s**t together

I think BF2 is the last time I bought a EA game. I don't intend to get this game, at least not until it is out for some time and all or most of the bugs and spyware are removed.

dito!

I still have a copy of the original C&C (used to have covert operations, but I lost that about 6 years ago), Red Alert (Used to have Both expansion packs, same thing with covert operations.), Tiberium sun, RA2, RA2: Yuri's revenge right here. Then generals came out, and it was ok.... that's it.

I lost all faith in EA when the v1.3 patch of BF2 came out. I was hanging on too false hope until then... mostly because NFS (except underground 2) was still pretty good.

I'm going to give EA one more chance with the next Command and Conquer.

I played the demo. 1.1GB and the fastest download server i could find topped out at 150-250KB/s...After hearing the beta testers screaming how BF2142 wasn't just a mod of BF2..I was sadly disapointed..The menu, in game interfaces, map displays, etc... is nearly indentacle to BF2...The textures are pretty disapointing for the resources it needs. Same horribly long loading times, and the need for you to restart the game after messing with a graphics setting. IMO BF2142=Patched BF2 with different levels and guns..Nothing really exciting...
