| What mobo? Tyan Thunder of course. What procs? Woodcrests I might OC as it's a gaming rig and I want the max. folding speed that I can wring from it. I'll be pairing it with a 7950 GX2 videocard. |

| It's my understanding that most dual-socket (server/workstation) boards do not feature overclocking setting in the BIOS. And why do you need a pair of dual cores for gaming? That's completely unnecessary. You keep flip-flopping on what you want this system to be for, and whether you're going to overclock or not. First you need to decide what you actually want out of yout system, then start configuring it. |
