Almost everything has arrived. I'm just waiting for the reservoir from Danger Den. In the mean time I'll be looking everything over and planning out the placement of the components. Thanks for the advice guys and let me know if there are any installation tips you might have.

Wow! Your a great photographer...

Tips:
  • Try to mount the reservoir above the other water cooling components. Makes bleeding the system of air really easy... All the bubbles rise to the reservoir by their selves without you having to tip your computer all over the place.
  • NEVER I mean NEVER run the pump without fluid in it. Make sure you have fluid already in the pump (fluid goes in the inlet and is already flowing out the outlet) before you power up the system for the first time. It is destroy the pump even if you run it for a few seconds without fluid.
Thats all I can think of right now... Good luck!

Pretty. Although I've never been a fan of D-tek blocks.

It might not be worth waiting for, but I always buy fan silencers to put between fans and whatever I'm mounting them to so it doesn't vibrate as much. Hell you don't even have to buy pre-made ones, just get some kind of weather stripping at the hardware store and cut it thin enough.

Good points from yellowhello. To help with making sure the pump has water, it works well to have that reservoir above the pump and make the line drop down into the pump's intake if it doesn't cause a kink in your line to run it that way.

They've been known in the past for making blocks that wasn't their design...just bought from someone who moved on to a better design that he sold.

DangerDen rarely has the best performing design, but I'll take one of their blocks over Dtek any day for their commitment to quality throughout their life.

Thermochill included a "neoprene gasket" to install between the radiator and the fans which I am assuming will act as a vibration dampener.

As far as the D-Tek CPU block, it was a toss up between that and the Apogee GTX. It was recommended and I also read good things about it so I'll let you guys know how it goes for me.

I forgot to mention that the weather stripping also goes well between the radiator and case. If nothing else it keeps your radiator from being scratched up.

Swiftech did that too. They bought the design for the Storm CPU water block off someone, I believe...
