| not sure yet, but i'm planning for a Pentium D 940, and i'm taking big typhoon... as soon as i got it, i'm overclocking it... my undecided rig see it below with my signiture... i'm pleased you looking over me, believe me, i'm not an easy person to persuade... i'm a very picky person... I was deciding between Zalman 9500 vs Big typhoon, i heard from a couple of my friends that Zalman 's fins are to sharp and the fan dies after 6 mos up, big typhoon they say is a lot durable compare to Zalman 9500... And with regards to Artic Freezer 7, i found out that the fan dies like Zalman's and with the frame its easy to break... see i do my research, with big typhoon the only problem i saw is the size its gigantic... | T-Rex | Lol yes, it is gigantic, thanks the 120mm fan. :P Coincidence, I just repaired a s478 computer with a Zalman CNPS7000B-Cu LED, the Heatsink bracket was broken. =/ Anyway the guy prefered to change his Asus P4P800 SE for an ECS P4M800PRO-M478 then to find a bracket lol. The fixation for the CNPS9500 however is much better, and shouldn't be much of a problem for anyone. My only gripe about the Big Typhoon is it's fixation method, you'll need to remove the motherboard and install a plate under. Nothing really hard to do, but still a hassle sometimes. |

| We take both criticism and positive comments very positively | The Big Typhoon is a very good cooler. I also very much like the Zalman CNPS9500 and the Thermalright Ultra 120, which we'll be reviewing shortly INTEL QX9650 // Gigabyte EP45 Extreme // 8GB PC2-8500 // BFG GTX260 MaxCore // DD Torture Rack // Seagate 750GB HDD // OCZ Vendetta // PC Power & Cooling 620W PSU |
