Another issue to keep in mind is acoustics. I'm sure part of this kits appeal is that is cools quieter than a lot of the high end coolers, which sometimes have a high speed (noisier) fan.

Pre-fabbed W/C kits hardly every measure up in the end, but they are meant as a simple, inexpensive solution, mostly for beginners. I'd also like to point out that I've yet to find a W/C kit that shows good performance with a Quad Core processor, especially the furnace like QX6800/6850.

If you have, or plan on buying a Quad, and want to O/C or water cool, make sure you invest in a water cooling kit worthy of the processor, something from Danger Den or D-Tek specifically.

Sapphire HD 3870X2
Danger Den Tower-26 (Custom W/C)

BFG ES 800W PSU

I had really LOL at your last comment! But it is so true, we just tell it like it is. As much as we respect most of the companies in the industry, our reviews will not be affected by any 'awe' factor or bribes. We are just down-to-earth reviewers of integrity, even if we are a bit crazy at times.

While this is true, I noticed the fan noise was about the same between the ZEROtherm Nirvana and Bigwater760i (tolerable at high speed and nearly silent at low speed).

you sure the radiator is aluminum? Aluminum + Copper + Water = Corrosion. i dont care how much anti corrosion additive you put in, it will only delay it.

other than that, not a bad kit for those looking to try watercooling, but not ready for big leagues.

You can move the fan from the top and reinstall it underneath with out a problem to draw air from chassis. The holes for mounting will match up on either side of the radiator.
