| T-Rex | What about a run without themal paste and an almost perfectly flat heatsink base (mirror shine too maybe?) to see what difference it does? I've always been curious about that. |

| What water cooling parts/components exactly? I'd look at the coolers that make it easiest to make a good, consistent mount each time. ![]() |

The phase change cooling is interesting (it's fun to try too!) but I doubt it's necessary. Though at the price those things are, I know how tempting it is to use it for EVERY benchmark, whether or not it's needed. :P Since it's quite a lot of repetitive and not very interesting testing, maybe ditch the phase for the higher-end air cooler. | |
