What about a run without themal paste and an almost perfectly flat heatsink base (mirror shine too maybe?) to see what difference it does? I've always been curious about that.

Any "basic" silicon based TIM except the Cooler Master one in the list?
Edit: Ah didn't see the Thermalright one on first look. :)

The G751 is already on the list, and I'm waiting to hear back on the diamond paste

That's going to be a very interesting review for sure. What coolers do you plan on testing? I guess you won't test them with a dozen of coolers, that would take so long!!

My thoughts, and I'm open to suggestions......

Stock Intel Cooler
water Cooling
Phase Change Cooling (If I can fashion a mounting kit, I'm broke and they cost $100)

What water cooling parts/components exactly?

I'd look at the coolers that make it easiest to make a good, consistent mount each time.

Sounds nice, though I would maybe include a bit more high-end air cooler in the testing.
The phase change cooling is interesting (it's fun to try too!) but I doubt it's necessary. Though at the price those things are, I know how tempting it is to use it for EVERY benchmark, whether or not it's needed. :P
Since it's quite a lot of repetitive and not very interesting testing, maybe ditch the phase for the higher-end air cooler.
