Another issue I see with this fan. You have to break the flow into 2 components. One is your cubic feet per min the other is static pressure. In a regular dc fan the swept disk areas can hit 90% and can push air through some fairly dense fin arrangements. This thing meets any backpressure or resistance my bet is it quickly stalls out and probably only suitable for light cooling.

Hard to beat an axial fan, they only cost a couple of bucks 2 make -use only a couple of watts, fairly reliable, push a good amount of airflow.

Larger footprint though.




If there is a final hour, let's hope for a higher power. One by one, and two by two, I have ammo, what about you?
