| one thing that bothers me are the possibility of accidental spill of high mineral content of this colloidal silver, which we all know very very conductive... | coud you take the barbs to a jeweller and get them plated with silver??? it'd still have the silver on it, and so would stop algae growing in your loop, but would cost WAY less than solid silver barbs, you might even just be able to get the insides plated, wich would cost even less money. for that matter depending on how much it would cost, plate everything else, as silver radiates heat away quicker than copper (but not as fast as synthetic diamond, which, accoring to a magazine article i have, is the best). |
