If you check carefully the cooler though you see there's spaces between the fins where the pushpins are, letting you slip a flat head screwdriver and push down the pins to install it, or twist them to undo it. :)

Man, Intel keeps on impressing me. LEDs and a fan speed control on a stock cooler, you watching this AMD?

AMD has put heatpipes in their coolers, so i'm not exactly sure what you're talking about...

Getting in gear and giving us something, basically. Granted this is only a stock cooler, but I appreciate the attention to detail and mostly the new quads this will be going with.

OMG, is Intel really putting blue LED's on ALL the coolers?! That seems like a waste of money to me. I'd rather have a processor be $1.95 cheaper than have some stupid, off colored LED's in my system...

The title's a bit deceiving. That's the new heatsink for the Extreme's only - meaning only for the QX's and X's, not the vanilla Q and E editions.

Well, at least the cooler is pretty! Looks like it should reduce temps by a smidge; the surface area looks like it's increased a lot.
