| I don't know how to put this, but, I'm kind of a big deal. | I'd go with the V1 if buying an air cooler today. Exceptional performance and one of the easiest installs out there (no motherboard removal required). |

If I go with the Thermalright Ultra 120, I probably won't go with the 'Extreme' version because I heard it has a inferior mounting bracket. Am I right? Damn it you guys, you got me totally split on the Thermalright Ultra 120, the Zalman CNPS 9700 and the Thermaltake Big Typhoon VX. I can kind of rule out the Big Typhoon, though, because my case doesn't have a vent on the side panel. Please help me!! EDIT: OK, after mulling it over, I think I'll go with the 9700. That way I won't have to buy an extra fan and it looks cooler than the Ultra 120. Maybe I'll do a review when I get it....Cheers!! ![]() Last edited by gvblake22; June 28th, 2007 at 06:54. | I don't think you'll be disappointed. I think an additional review (from a different perspective), and with lot's of pictures is in order ;) Intel C2D 6550 Asus P5Q Pro OCZ Platinum DDR2 800 2 x 2 GB EVGA GTX260 216 Samsung SyncMaster 930B 1 x WD3200 2 x WD2000JD HP DVD640 Corsair 750TX Win XP Home SP3 |

| Actually (haha) I'm sort of second guessing myself. I need a cooler that will also cool my chipset (it's passively cooled). The GeminII is probably to big. ![]() |

| One thing that REALLY surprises me is that the GenimII doesn't have any sort of backplate!! From some of the pics I have seen of the GeminII, I would seem that I would have to remove the exsaust fan from my case. Can any one who maybe owns the GeminII clarify about the size and the fit? Thanks Also, where would the two 120mm get power? From the case fan headers on the mobo? Sorry I'm asking to many questions. Just want to know about the product I'm buying. ![]() ![]() Last edited by gvblake22; June 28th, 2007 at 06:54. Reason: consecutive posts merged |

| We take both criticism and positive comments very positively | For overclocking I'd really recommend either the V1 or Big Typhoon INTEL QX9650 // Gigabyte EP45 Extreme // 8GB PC2-8500 // BFG GTX260 MaxCore // DD Torture Rack // Seagate 750GB HDD // OCZ Vendetta // PC Power & Cooling 620W PSU |

| So, how's this: Newegg.com - COOLER MASTER GeminII RR-CCH-ANU2-GP CPU+ Board Cooler - Retail Newegg.com - Thermaltake A1927 120mm Red LED Case Fan - Retail I like to color on the fans. And there Tt. Yeah, but what about my chipset? I'm trying not to egnore you guys, but I REALLY like the GeminII for some reason. The V1 I don't mind, but I remember when I saw the pic of it interfering with that fan in the P182. Also the GeminII beat out the Typhoon in the GeminII review. ![]() |

| We take both criticism and positive comments very positively | Well, then there you go....all settled. Keep in mind that the fans are attached to rails, and can be slid back and forth quite a bit to fit a number of situations. As a side note, please try to put everything in one post......you're developing a bad habit of running on 2-3 posts at a time, and it makes things hard to follow for people.
