| I don't know how to put this, but, I'm kind of a big deal. | Rich and I have actually discussed incorporating some UPS reviews into our lineup. Two that I currently own are the Belkin 1500VA and the 1250VA. I haven't played around too terribly much with the Bulldog software that comes with Belkin units, but I have no initial complaints from dinking around with it. On a very related side note, you can snag some nifty deals off of Belkin's site. Knock 40% off most items with coupon code 12345 (no joke). |

| This is just to catch up most of what was lost in this thread over the past week. I believe that I described how I'm going to build an external case for all my water cooling components. I found a nice clear acrylic display cube ($20) that was originally meant to display a basketball. It comes apart in two pieces and will be fairly easy to work with. I plan on putting an air hole in the bottom and top so that the radiator can lay down with the fan blowing up through it and out the top. The resevoir will be somewhere at the top with a hole so you can fill easirly. The pump will be somewhere about halfway up on a little acrylic shelf glued onto the side. So I taped and marked the spots where I wanted holes and since I didn't have the nerve to cut/drill it myself, I took it to the local glass shop for them to take a shot at it. A few days later, they called me with good news. They were done and they hadn't destroyed it ($14). So here it is so far with the holes marked for what they will be. I plan to have a nice blue cold cathode light hidden behind the radiator so it all have a nice glow to it. ![]() Commodore 64 overclocked into outerspace ![]() |

| So now I have disconnected my water cooling and drained it all to prepare. That was hard to do. But it is a good thing I did. The block mounting screw was pushing the clamps on the block nozzles and that needs to be addressed before I put it back on. So I have put my Scythe Katana back on for now so that I can take my time and do this right. So it is all drained and rinsed and here is where the radiator and resevoir will go approximately. The pump will sit on a little shelf directly across from the resevoir. ![]() Comments/Criticism is welcomed. You won't hurt my feelings if you see something that looks out of wack!! | Modder-ator | Will the bottom be on some feet or a stand or something to let air flow in through the radiator? Silly question, but is this just an external enclosure for all the water cooling components so you can see it all? Are the tubes long enough to run from the computer to this external enclosure? |

Yes it is just an external enclosure so that I dont' have to put it in the case and so I can see it all. And the tubes will be long enough, yes. I am redoing all the tubing though, so it wont matter. It seems that HydrX and distilled water caused all the tubing to turn white on me. Not sure why that happened, but I'm going to just use distilled water and algaecide and some dye for the next round. | Wooooo. That looks very cool. It would be even cooler if the cube was UV reactive. ![]() I Like Watercooling. D-Tek Fuzion, MCP655, MCR220 |

| Yeah I may try that next. I wanted to keep the price down so I bought a basketball display cube and had it modded. Commodore 64 overclocked into outerspace ![]() |
