ICD 7 Results Thread - Page 6

With a couple days having gone by, I find my temps, at the same room temperature, have gone down by a full degree.

Well, I reseated my cpu today.

First application:

How much I put on this time:

So far, temps are looking about the same, load of 40/41, and an idle of 31 or so, so once it settles I think it'll be going nice and good.

Also used some ic7 when installing my new gpu cooler, that's working great (has my 8800gt at 35c idle temps now). I posted a review of that cooler, but it said it had to be reviewed or something before posting, so hoepfully that'll show up soon for the full results there.

I've applied IC7D to my 8800GT. Sadly I lost the text file with my IDLE and LOAD temp using AS5 so I cannot compare. At the pace I'm using this stuff I'll have to buy some soon. :)

yeah, I'm just about out, after doing 3 cpu's and one video card. Might have enough for one more cpu.

Andrew emailed me last night to say you guys are doing a really good job....and I'm really, really happy with the effort of those of you who have put the time and effort into this that we asked for.

The results are consistent with those of other forums who have participated. Quite a few people still haven't posted their results.....please do not forget to take the time to help out.....Your participation reflects on HL as a community.
