| Got my tube today, looked just like the others. I cleaned off the old AS5 with alcohol and a coffee filter. I squeezed a small (volume roughly equal to that of a pea) line of paste that runs along the dual cores. ![]() This was the result: ![]() P5K-E / E8400 @ 4.0 / Scythe Ninja Copper / 2GB Hyper-X DDR2-800 / 7800GT / Antec 1200 / Corsair HX-520 P5W DH Deluxe / E7200 @ 3.8 / 2GB Ballistix DDR2-800 / 7600GT (passive) / P180B / Seasonic SS-550HT / Zalman Reserator V2 Optiplex 755 / E2180 / 4GB DDR2 / 160GB HD / ATI HD 2400 Dual-ISP Network aim: drewandnotu | Skype: drew-and-not-u Last edited by drew and not u; February 19th, 2008 at 16:53. |

| Don't you mean "idle" and "load", not "before" and "after"? Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 + Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme DFI Blood Iron P35-T2RL + Thermalright HR-05 IFX 2GB G.Skill 800MHz F2-6400PHU2-2GBHZ EVGA GeForce 8800GTS 320MB Silverstone Decathlon 650W Western Digital 250GB SATA II |

| T-Rex | Well it looks like ICD7 is the new champ! :P You have to take into consideration that some people paste might have "caked" a bit like RangerXLT8 pointed out somewhere. After a certain time, I guess that AS5 loses a bit of it's heat transfer and need to be redone. |
