My lappy has been spooling up it's fans much more than normal, so I'm going to use my tube on my laptop, then the rebuild of my desktop.

Got a note from the mailman that 55 cents due so I'll have to go to the post office later to pick it up. -27 wind chill right now so I might wait till tomorrow. I'll update with pics as i go. Here's the current readings using AS5. The top pic is stressed after IC Diamond and the below pic is stressed with AS5. Nice difference with stress on computer. There was little difference between the AS5 and IC Diamond at idle which probably has as much to do with the ambient temp of the area the computer sits in as anything. I used 3D Mark 2003 to stress the components.

Diamond is great for polishing your teeth - although the carbon black component (copier toner) is mildly carcinogenic when ingested.

It will put a mirror finish on your IHS with about 20 seconds buffing with dab and a soft cloth.

for those testing, lets all try to get the same version, I see latest public version is 0.96.1 (unless I found an older version)

I'll probably be using speedfan still, either that or the easytune thinger that gigabyte uses on their mobo's... coretemp just doesnt play well with vista64, and I don't feel like disabling the driver signing or anything like that when speedfan works fine for me. (i've noticed that driver signing is very nice to have....)

thats fine, you can use what you like but there may be minor differences in sensor reading between versions which is why I mentioned the above for those that are using it.
