| i tried to find out the cfm's....but couldn't. I'd say since it's a "low noise" kind of set up then they aren't pushing much air. I think about 40-50cfm apiece on the 92's and probably in that ballpark for the 120's. Yes, you should feel some air coming out the back or top...especially since you have two...right beside each other. If it were me, I'd have the two in the rear and the two on top as exhaust fans and just have the two in front as intakes. One option would be...get a couple of delta super high 92mm fans @90.02cfm, 2 antec tri cool 120mm fans set to high @79cfm for the top and 2 Delta 120mm @ 150.33cfm for the two bottom intakes. You'd have 300.66cfm intake and 338cfm exhaust. Negative pressure and you should be able to feel a little breeze blowing out the back of your case then. It will be quite a bit louder than the silent mode you have going on now. I have bad ears and a dedicated computer room, so noisey fans really don't bother me. | Well, the two bottom intakes are for the hard drive bays. They don't put air in the case at all. I'm leaving those alone. I suppose I should ammend my statement on fans. I've been disregarding the hdd fans. Including those I have 8 fans. I've rigged up a 120mm front and 92 mm rear intake. Front is in the drive bays and and rear is in the empty second psu compartment. The 92mm is purely a ghetto-rig mod of my own thinking and is still in the works. Planning on ducting the air into the bottom of the mobo bay. Edit: And are those thunderblade specs accurate? It seems they'd move 78 cfm at or below the dBA I'm currently running. Last edited by NoctisReitop; July 31st, 2007 at 19:51. |
