So you would definitely have to get different screws then? Thanks for the heads up.

Fan screws are much larger than the 6/32 screws used on most other computer parts. You could get a long (1.25" or so) 6/32 screw and matching nut and it will fit through the fan holes just fine. Don't bother trying to thread the holes on the fan, just feed the thinner screw through and secure it with a nut on the other side.

Those fins look pretty close together... I don't know if you could fit a screw through them. How is the stock fan mounted?

You could probably mount this fan in place of the stock one.

Newegg.com - SILVERSTONE FM83 80mm Case Fan - Retail

Intel E8400 - EVGA 780i mobo
Zalman 9700NT - 8 Gig Crucial DDR2-800
Two EVGA GTX260's in SLI
PC P & C 750 watt - Samsung 216BW LCD
Samsung DVD-RW - Logitec Z-640 speakers
Linksys WRT54GL Router - CM 690 Case
Seagate 250gig - Vista Home Premium 64bit

I don't know what size they are and the one sheet user guide didn't specify.

What I can tell you is that they are thinner than a typical can screw that has the large thread (you know, the ones used for case fans).

There is some aluminum folded over the corners with a hole drilled in them for the screws.

Actually this one is 25mm thick as well, and would still require new screws.
