Two. As far as the aluminum vs. copper argument goes, then I guess all the engineers at Zalman and many other after-market cooling companies should be fired and hire you. They have an aluminum/copper mixture of parts and pieces. I stand by what I've recommended. Pentosin is an automotive coolant engineered to withstand much higher temperatures and corrosion inducing conditions than you'll ever find in your computers W/C system. Especially with anodized aluminum water blocks. So since other coolants made for automotive use are commonly used in W/C setups, why should this one be excluded? And never mind the guys at [H]ard|Forum who swear by it.

Order whatever 240mm radiator and fan system you want. Add it to your loop. If it sucks, then come back here, tell me it sucked and then buy the other parts needed to remove your Reserator. Then, sell the Reserator here or on Ebay. Or use it to cool an HTPC setup. I haven't personally used the Reserator2 and a 240mm rad/fan combo, but with a 1.25L capacity, I'd be willing to bet $10 that it will make a decent difference.
First. I didn't say that Pentosin shouldn't be used. It's a great coolant that should be used together with distilled water. 90% Water, 10% Pentosin. It won't be instructions for use in a water cooling loop.

Silence? Who ever said that custom water cooling isn't silent? With the MCR-220 and Yate Loons, your system is going to be near silent.

And as far as hiring me.... They damn well should.

No. Do not get it. Go the right way and you will never have any problems or concerns ever again.

When you have an external radiator designed for WCing, the reservoir size does not matter at all, some people don't even use a reservoir, just a rad and a T-Line.

Disconnecting the Zalman Reserator and maybe putting on another rig would be the best choice.

That thermaltake radiator is overpriced too. Take for instance, this radiator. It is $20 cheaper then the thermaltake, and is all copper. With that $20, you can get two quiet fans, and possibly shipping too.

You have to see if the Zalman block is gold plated however! If it is, it is pretty safe to use it with a copper loop.

Get the swiftech MCR-220 instead of the Black Ice GT Stealth. I have both so I can tell you my experience first hand.

Just do what these guys have said. I certainly don't have the experience they do.

If you have an LGA775 air cooler, you could put that on your processor and then just have the two 8800GTS cards in the Resorator loop. That would probably eliminate enough heat from the loop to keep your video cards much more cool.
