All this card does is push into the mobo..it has a plug coming from the fan that plugs right into it's own card. Last edited by oldman_gamer; February 19th, 2008 at 12:11. | |

| Why would you be looking to get this for the GTS? The GTS's sink/fan is basically like this and has no heating issues. If anything you'd prob wanna look for an aftermarket one designed for the GTS. OldGamer, i googled your card and it doesn't need an external power source. the PCI Express slot should be enough. Only the GTS 8600 needs an external power source Last edited by azianai; February 19th, 2008 at 12:32. |

| T-Rex | I'm fine with my VF1000LED on my superclocked version. :) Does 725mhz core and 1015mhz ram (ratio of shader unchanged). Didn't really test push it though, it could likely do more. It's a nice initiative from eVGA to sell with a dual slot cooler though. I know other companies have been putting different coolers on the 8800GT's for a while, but I haven't seen one with a really "decent" cooler that took care of everything. (most had ram chips butt naked :S) |
