Supposedly that Arctic Cooling MX-2 is better than Arctic Silver 5/Ceramique and has no burn-in time but I have yet to try it. If something works why change it? If there is a difference then it's going to be an extremely small one.

I Like Watercooling. D-Tek Fuzion, MCP655, MCR220

I'll be picking up some new thermal goop as my Ceramique just ran out here in a few days or so, I'll grab that and see how it works.

hi guys i'm bringing this back from the grave, coz i got a question?

if i want to build an external enclosure for the H2O loop of mine where can i get the parts?

like aluminum [and how think should i use], acrylic [screws need for attaching it to the aluminum], circuit card [for the multiple molex/ fan connector in the external enclosure]

basically i want to build my own Water Keg... i need something easy and sturdy item to mutilate since i only have a terrace in the 11th floor of my studio apartment as a work area...

the idea is not to mutilate any expensive case i have... since i'm building from scratch... but since this is just an idea, and i cant start working on my porch since its
winter and cold, i want to jump start it to planning...

Just get some sheet aluminum (like from Home Depot) some 6/32 screws and nuts (the "standard" computer screw) and some sheet plexiglass (also from Home Depot). Then cut the aluminum and plexi with a jigsaw or Dremel (or if worst comes to worst, a hacksaw) and drill holes for the screws (I think it's a 9/64 or 7/64 drill bit, but can't be sure). Also carefully plan the cuts and holes (measure twice, cut once!).

Also be sure to cut the plexi slowly, as it can melt very easy.

Hope that helped.
