Alright. It shouldn't ever become too much of a problem until you start overclocking.

With all the fans that come stock wtih the Thermaltake Armor and the airflow in that, you should be just fine.

Anyway, how would I go about removing that stock pad should it come to that?

ok, i'll bite, wheres your guide? And by the way, since I initally made this post, my rear chassis fan has stopped blowing but the nifty LED light in the fan is still on. Its gotten colder in the room since earlier. Could that have caused the fan to stop blowing?

theres setting in your BIOS under the CPU Health/Temperatures page..... some board shut down fans once temperatures reach a certain point...it save energy

Whew, hope thats it. Just ran PCMark04 trying to heat up the system but it didnt. Will try something else to raise the internal temp.

Yeah, go into the BIOS and disable the fan speed control/monitoring for the chassis fan (and any other fans you want to run full speed all the time). Your other option is to just remove the fan from the onboard motherboard fan header and connect it directly to a lead on your power supply (although will might need a 4-pin to 3-pin connector/adapter). I usually connect all my fans right to my powersupply so I know what they are doing.

I have a thing about that too. I never plug fans into a motherboard header unless i have a good reason too and it puts more stress on my motherboard 12v rail.
Running fans at full speed is also a good excuse :P
